Since I've last posted I have finished Hunger Games. I kept throwing this title to the back of my mind as it did not seem like something I would be interested in reading. After seeing the movie trailer and so many of my adult friends posting about the series, I decided to give it a try.Ok, so I admit it...I was hooked from the 1st page. I loved how it jumped right into the story. So many times books take too long to make an impression as to what the current plot is. Collins engages the reader from the beginning and includes only pertinent historical information when it is necessary. It is a story of political retaliation, self-discovery, and family. I enjoyed it immensely.
